Casa Loma - the interior

a shelf in one of the rooms upstairs

the organ in the Great Hall

a light fixture inside the bathroom

inside the Lady's parlour

a lamp in the Lady's sitting room

the stairwell to the third floor

details of the ceiling in the drawing room

an ornamental figurine inside the Napoleon Drawing Room on the first floor of the castle

the furniture inside the Napoleon Drawing Room

details on the wall of the drawing room

the great library - i would've loved to see what books the Pellats had in their library (these ones are just ornamental books); if i had a library this big, i'd have a big couch right in the middle where i can just read and read and read

a lamp on the wall in the Great Hall

the fireplace in the study

this chair can be found in the billiard room

as well as this cabinet

this throne is a replica of the throne on which the present Queen of England was crowned in 1952

Casa Loma in the summer - the grounds

these cattails are quite lovely - made me sneeze but otherwise, lovely - i last saw these when i was a little girl back in the old country.

there was a display overhead, too, of the beautiful summer sky.

there were black-eyed susans everywhere in the garden!

first time i've seen tiger grass, reminds me of snakes, 'though!

the tower, as seen from the garden.

again, the tiger grass.

the south tower as seen from the fountain.

the garden held a variety of flowers and plants.

the tropicals were in abundance in the Casa Loma garden.

and you always come back to the one that reminds you of home.
